RRRR - Resilience, Rights & Respectful Relationships

As part of our Social and Emotional learning at SFX, all classes participate in the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships program (RRRR)

The Resilience and Rights components of the program covers six topics that help students to develop essential social and emotional skills, knowledge, and understanding.

These topics cover;

  1. Emotional Literacy
  2. Personal Strengths
  3. Positive Coping
  4. Problem Solving
  5. Stress Management
  6. Help-Seeking

The Respectful Relationships component focuses on treating everyone with respect and dignity and is made up of two topics;

       7. Gender and Identity

       8. Positive Gender Relations

This term our focus topic is Gender and Identity. Exploring stereotypes helps us understand how they influence our attitudes and behaviour.

We will learn about:

  • how we are similar and different
  • gender stereotypes
  • how gender stereotypes can influence our attitudes and behaviour
  • issues relating to human rights, gender and identity
  • the importance of respect within all relationships
  • diversity and difference.

The Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships program is part of the Victorian Curriculum and is taught in every Primary and Secondary school across the State. If you require any further information or wish to speak to someone about the content of the program, please see a member of our school's Child Safety Team:
