SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB

The latest Book Club catalogue (Issue 5) is now available. Each order will help earn books and teaching materials for our classrooms at St John's.

Please order at scholastic.com.au/LOOP - by Monday, 1 August 2022 at the latest.

Italian Day at St John's

We are celebrating a whole school Italian Day on Thursday 11 August. On this day students may come to school dressed in the Italian colours or a fancy Italian costume.

Students can pre order pizza and gelato for lunch. Orders will be taken online via CDF pay.

Students will be involved in Italian Day activities throughout the day.

As a finale to the day, 'Luigi Zucchini the Magician' will deliver a spectacular whole school show.

Visible Italian Art in the Community Competition

The visible Italian Competition entries are due on Italian Day. This a great opportunity for students to take lots of photos about everything Italian. There is a great Hamper full of Italian treats to be won!

Photos can include:

Restaurant and café names
Italian cars
Italian products at supermarkets
A menu or recipe
Food cooked at home
Italian people you know
Street signs
Clothing brands
The ideas are endless...

Present your photos along with captions as a poster, seesaw activity, photo album or slideshow. All entries close Thursday 11 August (Italian Day)
