Classroom Reports

Student Reports

Students will receive a printed copy of their Semester One report on Thursday 23rd June. The report will also be available on Compass.

The report provides a summary of your child’s progress for semester one. It also includes comments that students can enact in semester two.

Also included in the report is the Victorian Curriculum progression points. This give parents information on the academic performance of their child against the Victorian curriculum standards.

Year 10 students who are on work experience, can have a member of their family collect the report from the front office on Thursday 23rd June after 1pm.

If you have any queries or questions about the report please contact your child’s homegroup teacher.

Foundation & Yr 1

Last week, in Inquiry, we got to make a special device to measure the wind speed and direction. We attached three pieces of paper to a coat hanger and walked around the school finding some places that were very gusty and some that had only a slight breeze. This week, we will be investigating what wind speed is needed to move a range of differently weighted materials, e.g. calico, plastic from plastic bag and heavy card. I wonder what our predictions will be.

'Celebration of the Arts' Evening 2022

We are delighted to announce that on September 2nd, 2022, Wedderburn College will be hosting a ‘Celebration of the Arts’ evening, as a showcase of students’ skills and passions within all areas of performing arts.

Each student, from Foundation to Year 12, will be performing their class’s act, which will be selected with student input and facilitated by school staff. Students from Years 5 to 12 will also be invited to audition to perform on the evening as individuals or in groups. Google Forms will be provided soon to homeroom teachers for students to sign up to audition. Auditions will take place in Week 1 of Term 3.

We look forward to seeing the many talents that our students have to offer!
