Volunteer Induction Sessions

It is a DECD Policy that anyone volunteering within the school, assisting or interacting with students, complete both a Criminal History Check and undertake a Volunteer  Induction Session, run by the school.  

In Term 1 we are seeking volunteers across the school and your class teacher is the person to speak to about how you can help.  I will be running two Volunteer Induction Sessions during this term on Friday 20th February after the Early Years Assembly at 10.00am and Monday 16th March at 9am. Please contact the front office on 8443 5544 or email belinda.adams182@schools.sa.edu.au to advise of your attendance or to enquire about volunteering within the school.

If you haven’t completed your Criminal History Check please get the forms from the front office. You can still attend the sessions if waiting for these to be processed. There is no cost to you for this as it is covered by the school.

Bank SA - 2015 School Banking 

Help your kids understand the importance of saving!

Bank SA Staff will be attending your school assembly on the Friday 27th February  to open Little Saver Accounts. They will be available from 8.30am till 9.00am at the back of the gym and then again after assembly. Bank SA will offer every child’s new account,  opened before the 10th April 2015, $10 towards their savings plan and also $10 towards the school’s fundraising kitty. 

What will you need on the day:

-          Your child’s Birth Certificate and

-          Medicare card with child’s name on it

OR

-          Your child’s Passport

You are more than welcome to come into the Torrensville Branch or any Bank SA Branch to open an account if it suits you better. You can contact Jan or Danielle at the Torrensville Branch on 08 8352 7265 if you have any questions.

Exciting news:

Starting Tuesday 24th February , Bank SA staff will resume the collection of your child’s school bank deposit .  This will continue throughout every Tuesday of the schools terms.

Playgroup News

Welcome to playgroup for 2015. 

Playgroup is running on a Monday morning from 9:15 - 11:15 am and Thursday from 9-11am at the Lockleys Children's Centre. This year we welcome Antonia Arena, the playgroup leader for 2015.
