LNPS Knockout Sports 2015
Dear Parents/Care Givers
2015 brings some new sporting challenges that Lockleys North will be participating in throughout the year. The SAPSASA Knockout competition is one of those new challenges that we have submitted interest for, where our Year 6/7 students will be battling other schools in a variety of sports.
We have entered three different teams into the competition that will be playing at some point between now (Term 1) and Term 4. The teams are listed below;
- Term 1 /4 Yr 6/7 Boy's Cricket
- Term 2/3 Yr 6/7 Boy's Soccer
- Term 2/3 Yr 6/7 Girl's Netball
This term our boys’ Cricket team will be playing up to three games if they continue to win, as it is a knockout competition. The games will be played during school time. All matches are going to be played at a mutually agreed venue on or before the dates listed below.
Feb 27th, March 18th, April 3rd, October 23rd, November 13th and GRAND FINAL December 2nd.
If you have a child who is participating in any of these teams and you would like to volunteer helping in any way you can, such as umpiring, scoring, transport and even just being there as support it would be greatly appreciated. Further notices and updates regarding the Cricket this term will be provided in the next few weeks.
