END OF TERM CELEBRATIONS

It was fantastic to welcome back families to our End of Term assemblies for the first time in two years! With our growing numbers of students we are now unable to fit in our Hall as a whole school.  To ensure that we continue to have an opportunity to celebrate student achievements and share our news, assemblies will now be held in Unit groupings.

Congratulations to the students in each Unit who received their Outstanding Achiever awards and our Kiwanis Terrific Kid Awards.

Today, students and staff celebrated their learning for the term with an out of uniform day and pizza lunch - a great way to wrap up the term in these colder months!

END OF SEMESTER REPORTS

We hope you have enjoyed reading through your student's reports this week. It's been a delight to read of all the growth and success students have had throughout Semester One.   We would welcome any feedback you have on your student's report, as we are always looking to improve our practices and ensure you feel informed about your child's educational journey.

STAFFING

This week we said farewell to Paul Cathcart, who has been teaching our Music program for the past two and a half years; we wish Paul all the best in his retirement.

We have also said goodbye to Zarli Miller who is pursuing other career opportunities in the disability sector - Zarli joined us in 2020 as an Education Support trainee and has remained working with us in that role since completing her studies. We wish her all the best with the next step in her career.

We are also saying farewell (for now) to Phoebe Graham-Bowd who is taking leave for the remainder of the year, and to Kaye Thomson, who is taking leave for Term Three.

Joining us will be Kayla Whittaker, who will be teaching a Kitchen/Garden Specialist program for Upper Middle Years students. We also welcome to the team Georgie Montgomery, who will be supporting the Early Years team.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

We would like to wish our students, families and staff a well earned holiday period. We extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone for the way they have supported each other through the challenges this term has presented us. Enjoy the break, take care of yourselves and if you are travelling, stay safe.

School will return on Monday July 11th - we look forward to seeing everyone then!
