Out Of School Hours Care

Term 1

Week 3 and 4

My Time Our Place

More than halfway through the term, the year is zooming by already. Expanding on the career theme from week 4, we carried it over to week 5 due to the interest of the children. The children responded really well to the theme, especially enjoying making name badges for different occupations and drawing out themselves in their ideal jobs. Week 6’s theme was centered around the sense, touch. This included lots of hands-on activities, with half of them held inside and half outside. The children were thoroughly entertained by this theme and it was noticeable by the larger numbers that participated.

Receptions Starting 2021

Please be aware that this is the last week that educators will be dropping and collecting the receptions from their classroom. It is important for the receptions to develop confidence and independence and educators will monitor the arrivals and departures of the students to ensure that everyone is safe.

April Vacation Care Program

The April Vacation Care program is available now from the schools website, the OSHC room and has been sent out via email.

Medications

If your child requires medication please ensure that you have provided an action plan as well as the medication (asthma pump, epipen etc.) to the service. It is vital that we have access to your child’s medication at our service whilst your child is attending.

Hats

As part of our sun safety policy all children are required to wear a hat if they are playing outside. Please remind your child/children to bring their hats from their classroom if they are attending the service.

Absentees

A reminder to all parents and caregivers to contact the service via email at info@lnpsoshc.org.au if their child(ren) are no longer attending their sessions or have been collected early from school.

Dietary Requirements

At our service we aim to cater to children’s needs as much as possible, however, if your child has specific dietary requirements or does not like the food programmed for the day please pack an alternative snack or drop off food alternatives at the service.
