As you know there are some important Term 1 events approaching, so please read on for all the event notifications, including dates and details.

Icy Pole Fridays
Rain, hail or shine – this Friday we will once again be giving the students an opportunity to purchase an icy pole at lunchtime for ONLY $1 – so please remind your children to pack their dollar coin for school this Friday.
And a reminder that P&F members, along with parent volunteers are regularly required to assist in the organisation and distribution of icy poles to students. If you have some spare time on Fridays, we would really appreciate your help. You can add your name to the volunteer list by calling ROSE on 0418 306 802, or alternatively you can email her at rosemary4@iprimus.com.au

Hot Food Day
For Wednesday 17th March, to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, you can order a SAUSAGE IN BREAD and GREEN JELLY CUP for your child. Like all other HFD orders, please jump online to QuickCliq to process and pay for your child’s order. Orders opened on Friday 5th March, and will close at MIDNIGHT on Sunday 14th March. Unfortunately, late orders CANNOT be accepted due to supplier requirements. If you have any questions or concerns please email parentsandfriends.stfidelis@gmail.com

Parents, please note that Hot Food Days are a P&F fundraising activity, and we work hard to ensure that you are given enough time to place an order for your children. We kindly ask that if you miss the cut-off date to place your child’s order that you DO NOT bring in any FAST FOOD. Instead, you could consider placing a ‘special lunch’ in your child’s lunchbox as an alternative. We thank-you for your understanding in this matter.
Hot Cross Bun Drive
You are running out of time… QUICKLY jump online to QuickCliq and order some mouth-watering, delicious BAKER’S DELIGHT HOT CROSS BUNS! Flavours include Traditional, Apple & Cinnamon, Choc-Chip, Mocha and Fruitless. For ONLY $8 for half a dozen buns, you can order these family faves for you and your loved ones. Also - $2 per purchased packet will be donated to St. Fidelis.

Colour Explosion School Fun Run
It’s time to start fundraising! The Colour Explosion School Fun Run will be held on Friday 26th March, with a session running at 4.30pm and another at 6.00pm. The fun run will be held in the Benny Courts at school. Make sure students bring a WHITE T-shirt to wear during the Fun Run. They will be covered in non-toxic, biodegradable coloured powder from head to toe! All students received their sponsorship booklets on Friday and can now create their online profile at myprofilepage.com.au. Big prizes are up for grabs! Raise at least $10 and your child can choose from a selection of awesome prizes. You can also share in $200,000 of extra prize credit, win a Razor Prize Pack, and become a Fundraising MonSTAR! Teamwork counts! If your class creates the most online profile pages each student will receive a Fundraising MonSTAR handball. Easter Raffle
During the last week of term 1, the P&F committee will be hosting an Easter Raffle. This raffle is always a fun way to end Term 1 – in previous years it has seen many families win a variety of Easter themed hampers and prizes. Thank-you to the families who have kindly donated an item for use in the raffle hampers, it is very much appreciated. By now you should have received a raffle book, consisting of 20 raffle tickets for sale @$1 per ticket. We encourage you to sell as many tickets as you can to your family and friends. Clearly named tickets and money should be returned to the school office before Thursday 25th March. If you are after extra raffle tickets, please collect spares from the general office.
The EASTER HAMPER DRAW will occur on Monday 29th March. Students and families will be notified of the winning tickets. Good luck to all of you!
Second Hand Uniform Sale
The P&F will notify you of the next uniform stall in the upcoming newsletters.
* We would also like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE THANK-YOU to all the families who continue to donate their pre-loved school uniforms, it is much appreciated. However, we would also like to make you aware of the condition that we require the school uniforms to be in, for re-sale:
We simply request that you forward any uniform that you would comfortably allow your own child to wear. In addition to this, if we end up with too many items that we need to dispose of, it adds to unwanted landfill, which is an environmental concern and furthermore becomes a school COST to remove. We thank-you for your understanding on this matter and we look forward to receiving many more of your preloved school uniforms.
