Summer Sport Finals

Congratulations to the 1st XI Cricket sides on their fantastic victory in the ISA Grand Final last Saturday on Breen Oval. Having won the toss, St Stanislaus opted to bat first and set an impressive 202 runs off their 50 overs with their Captain achieving a century. Whilst this may have set some nerves around the SPC camp, it obviously did not worry SPC Captain Finn Gray, scoring his own century remaining not out and hitting a six to win the match…  a fine ‘Captain’s knock’ by Finn.

St Patrick’s was also well represented in nine ISA Basketball Grand Finals on Saturday at Penrith Basketball Stadium. Congratulations must be extended to the 13C, 13D and 14B teams on winning their finals and claiming ISA Premierships. Commiserations must go to the 13B, 14C, 15D, 15C, 17C and 17B teams on their narrow losses.

Good Luck

This weekend we will see the following teams contest Grand Finals in the NDJCA and the RHBL competitions. Good luck to the 14A Cricket side, U16 Baseball side and the U14 Gold Baseball side for their Grand Final fixtures this Saturday.

Winter Sport

The first round of Winter sport for the senior school will occur on Saturday 27 March against Trinity Grammar. To be adequately prepared for this, secondary school trials will commence on Wednesday 17 March. Winter Sport Trial schedules can be viewed on the sports notice boards and Team App (Documents tab).

House and Age Athletics Championships

The 86th Annual Athletics House and Age Championships took place at the Sydney International Athletic Centre, Homebush yesterday. A very big congratulations to this year’s Championship Shield winners, the Coghlan House. The senior students were outstanding, with the Year 12 students leading the way with their House spirit and amazing participation.
