Child Safety

As part of our commitment to the Child Safety Standards, the school gates are locked between 9 am and 3.15 pm. All visitors to the school must enter through the office. This ensures that school personnel know at all times who is on the school grounds and for what purpose. All visitors to the school must sign in at the office and wear a school lanyard. This is a visible sign to the children that this person is safe and known to the school.

Student Attendance

Parents are required to ensure their child attends Holy Family Primary School every day, during normal school hours of each term. Where their child is unable to attend school it is the parent’s responsibility to contact the school office on that day by 9 am to inform and provide the school with an explanation for their absence. The school is required by law to follow up on any unexplained absences.
