National Reconciliation Week 

National Reconciliation Week activities were disrupted when we commenced Home Learning. We will continue our planned activities once we are all back at school. The FIRE Carrier Team met with Sherry Balcombe from Aboriginal Catholic Mission last Tuesday and spoke about the FIRE Carrier program and Reconciliation. 

Feast of the Sacred Heart

This Friday 11 June is the Feast of the Sacred Heart when we celebrate the special love of Jesus. The Feast of the Sacred Heart helps us to remember the love that Jesus has for everyone and is an opportunity for us to  to share our love and gifts to help one another and those in our community.  Although we will not be gathering for a mass as we usually do, a liturgy has been created that will be shared either on a Google Meet or in our classrooms on Friday. We usually collect non-perishable foods for our local St Vincent de Paul Conference for them to distribute to those in need in our local community on this feast day. We will still collect the non-perishable food items until the end of the term and then forward them on to Vinnies. A collection box will be in the office area.
