From the Front Office

It's been quite a while since our last newsletter.  There's been plenty happening in that time - not the least of which was Lockdown 4.0  Many thanks to parents and students for your hard work and resilience through yet another disruption.  Happily, it didn't last long and we're back at school now.  Still, some restrictions remain.

Only Essential Visitors

Unfortunately, we are only permitted to have 'essential visitors' at school at the moment.  This means we can't have parents at assemblies, and, at this stage, parents won't be able to attend our upcoming term tea.  This may change, and we hope it does, as we'd much prefer to have all parents and friends join us.

Term Tea Plans

Our plan for term tea at this time is to have students stay for an extended school day on Thursday, June 24.  Some of our classes have been working on a Market Day project to sell food, drinks, treats, games, and other bits and bobs.  After the market day activities, we'll present awards to students and light up a bonfire.  This all depends on the weather and of course COVID restrictions.  If things change, and we are able to have all parents at school, we'll modify our plans.  We'll give it another week or so before confirming.

Lost Property

Have you lost a sports jacket or maybe a jumper?  What about a drink bottle or lunch box? Maybe a towel or some goggles?  We have some lost property at the front desk we'd love to return to its rightful owner.  Feel free to give us a call to check for something you're missing.
