Learning Power Award Recipients

Congratulations to students who have been recognised by staff for their demonstration of one or many of the 6 Learning Powers celebrated at SMDP.

During Monday's online whole school the following students were acknowledged and their learning described so we all know why they are worthy recipients of our awards and applause.

P/1 L	Yanet	For being a kind and collaborative learner who always includes others and makes them feel welcome.
P/1 S	Harsh	For being a motivated learner who always gives things a try, and for using different strategies to help him when he is stuck. Well done Harsh on developing your independence as a learner.
P/1 C	Nicholas	For being a reflective learner who listens to teacher feedback to take his learning to the next step, particularly in writing. Well done Nicholas.
2E	Ashton	For being a motivated learner who takes pride in his work and tries his best in everything he does. Keep it up Ashton!
2S	Kanan Sam (from Marg)	For being a collaborative learner who shows great kindness in how he encourages and supports those around him. Well done Kanan! For being a resilient learner who stayed focused on his writing task and tried his hardest to improve his handwriting and spelling. Well done Sam!

P/1 L	Rafielle	For being a creative learner who has presented her learning through Seesaw last week in a fun, detailed and engaging way. Well done Rafie on continuing to be engaged during remote learning and using your imagination to enhance everything that you do!
P/1 S	Aoife	For being a motivated learner who completes all of her home-learning tasks with effort, detail and pride in her presentation. Your first week of home learning has demonstrated that you are a very capable and independent learner, who takes responsibility for growing as a learner. Well done Aoife on showing such determination!
P/1 C	Neville	For being a motivated learner who shows great enthusiasm when uploading all home learning tasks- always with lots of confidence and positivity.
2E	Kosta	For displaying motivation and resilience during learning at home and completing all of his work to the best of his ability. Keep up the great work Kosta!
