Term 4 Interim Reports

Term 4 Interim Reports are now available on the XUNO Parent Portal.

Detailed instructions on how to access the reports can be found in the graphic below.

If you have any concerns that you wish to discuss regarding the reports, please contact your child’s teacher using the XUNO messaging platform or direct email (please do not contact the school office this week as they will be unable to direct your call).

Any references to Not Yet Demonstrated are a great opportunity to have a conversation with your child and their teacher to look at strategies and specific learning and effort behaviours to improve learning progress.

For Years 7-10, these reports will reflect student learning and attendance from the beginning of Week 6 Term 3 up until the end of Week 1 Term

  • The reports will include information regarding the number of online learning interactions that your child has completed as an indication of their online attendance and learning progress.
  • These interactions took a variety of forms (e.g. completion of a draft written piece, a reflection or exit task, a worksheet, a response to a question, a test, etc.).
  • A subject that normally has 6 periods a week would expect 2 learning interactions completed per week.
  • A subject that normally has 3 periods a week would expect 1 learning interaction completed per week.
  • Most subjects will have either 6 or 12 interactions set across this 6-week learning period, however some subjects may have set less due to the interruptions.

For VCAL students, these reports will reflect student learning progress and attendance from the beginning of Week 6 Term 3 up until the end of Week 1 Term 4.

  • Teachers have included a judgement about the student’s overall learning progress towards meeting their VCAL outcomes
  • Any reference to Not Yet Demonstrated for Learning Progress mean that the student is at risk of not meeting their outcomes

For VCE students, these reports will reflect student progress towards their VCE subject outcomes and attendance from the beginning of Week 6 Term 3 up until the end of Week 1 Term 4

  • Not all subjects have 3 Outcomes. Teachers have entered Not Applicable for the third Outcome if that subject has only 2 Outcomes.
  • Any references to Making Progress will mean that your child is working towards satisfactory completion of an Outcome. Not Satisfactory means that they are not making progress and are at risk of not passing the outcome.
  • Your child’s teacher may contact you regarding any concerns about the way your child is progressing towards an Outcome
