Focus on Learning
Mrs Wilson 3/4
I have had the pleasure of teaching my Year 4 class for the last 4 years and we have experienced many amazing times. I have watched these children grow, achieve milestones and flourish in confidence. It saddens me to hand them over next year (I know they will be in great hands) as we have shared so many fun times together. However I am happy to say they are all ready to be the leaders of our school and will undoubtedly go on to do great things in the 5/6 room.
In the 3/4 classroom we have been extremely busy. In English the children are studying visual literacy and have made their own pictures to tell a story.
In Mathematics we have been learning all about fractions and decimals. Year 3 students have been using the magnetic fraction pieces to make equivalent fractions. While Year 4 students have been problem solving to improve their ability to apply the information they have learned. Stella's bookwork shows the Bar Method of solving math problems that we have been learning.
