Where Are They Now?

We would like to introduce you to Vishal Khanna,  a former student of Nossal. 

Vishal Khanna

Vishal works in strategy consulting - as an analyst. He works with a team to frame business problems, then gather and synthesize data to create recommendations  which is just the tip of the iceberg! 

In his work, Vishal typically works with top management across a range of sectors and in the relatively short time he has been in employment after completing his qualification, he has worked across health care, tourism, the arts and insurance. Vishal loves his job because he gets exposure to a variety of industries, works on what he describes as "super interesting problems" and gets to meet brilliant people. Away from work, Vishal loves to go to the gym regularly, which like for us all in 2020, has proven to be difficult to maintain. He adds that keeping fit is super important!

When Vishal reflects on what was one of the best parts of his time at Nossal, he says the close relationships students had with their teachers made it a special place to learn. He also wishes he had taken more Humanities subjects and regrets dropping his study of Japanese.

Vishal's advice to the current students of Nossal is... "be hungry to learn, aim to build a wide breadth of experiences and don't worry about ATAR too much."
