Experience days @ RMIT

Experience days give students the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops, explore life on campus and mingle with current students. These free events are designed for students in Years 10 – 12 who are not sure which course they want to study after secondary school and will help them narrow down their choices by experiencing what it would be like to study within a particular field.

Associate degree pathways

Associate Degree in Information Technology

This practical two-year Associate degree gives students the basic skills required to perform a range of in-demand specialist IT functions and provides a guaranteed pathway into a relevant Bachelor degree. Through a blend of theory and hands-on practical courses, students will develop a broad range of skills in: computer hardware, databases, user centred design, networking (including CISCO - CCNA systems), operating systems administration, programming, virtualisation and web computing. 

Prerequisites for this are:

20 in English and 20 in any Maths

Associate Degree in Business

This two-year Associate degree equips students with the skills to succeed in organisations ranging from Australia's largest companies through to the public sector and small and medium enterprises.  The program develops students’ professional skills in all aspects of the modern business environment and covers the fundamentals of people management, market analysis and buyer behaviour.  Graduates of the Associate Degree in Business may choose to pathway into a specialised Bachelor degree - Pathway Courses from the Associate Degree in Business.

Prerequisites for this are:

20 in English and subject bonuses for any Maths, Information Technology and 

Psychology
