Assessment & Reporting Information Night

for Year 10 Parents

MYP Coordinator Anthony Cavagna has emailed parents about this informative session in which we will discuss the role of assessment in the MYP and some of the recent changes to the ways your child receives assessment feedback.

We look forward to seeing you.

Winter Solstice celebration

The longest night of the year (21 June) will be celebrated by the whole School on Thursday 22 June at the Primary campus, Arlington.

The Winter Solstice celebration is a magical night when families and friends gather together to enjoy beautiful music by our many talented musicians, delicious food and a glass of mulled wine surrounded by fire light. The highlight of the evening is of course the lantern parade at dusk.

Preshil’s Winter Solstice celebration is a memorable evening of merriment and beauty and we do hope you will join us. It is events like these that build a sense of community which underpins the life of our School.

Thursday 22 June from 3.30pm to 6.30pm

at Arlington (395 Barkers Road, Kew)

Update: Year 9 Experience to the Northern Territory

Our students, together with teachers Beth Alvarez, Annabel Grigg and Chris Dite, had a good flight and arrived in Darwin at midday on Sunday. They headed straight to Kormilda College (the only school in the Northern Territory offering the IB Diploma) where they boarded, attended classes and joined in activities for the next two days.

Early this morning (Wednesday) the group left Darwin and headed to Batchelor where they will visit the beautiful Florence Falls. We look forward to reading all about their experiences in the Top End in our next newsletter.
