Introducing our new staff

Sian Clarke

Sian has an extensive teaching history, having taught VCE and English for 7 years, and Drama and Theatre Studies for 6 years.   She was the Head of English and Head of Drama for 4 years at Wallan Secondary College.  Sian’s first impression of St Helena is “an amazing, lovely school!”   She says everyone here is so kind and keen to help out.   She sees a strong sense of school pride, and beautiful leafy surrounds that are very calming.   Sian wanted to become a teacher because she wants to help students change their lives through education.   She wants to be a support person for students who may not have one in their lives, so she can help them change their lives positively.   Sian absolutely loves performing and directing musicals.   She normally performs in at least 2 a year – you can catch her in “Annie” by the Seymour Performers Workshop later this year!! Sian is teaching English and is one of our Year 12 Managers.  Welcome, Sian!
