Division Swimming Tournament

On Tuesday, 1st March, 16 of our swimming superstars represented Good Shepherd at an inter-school swimming tournament at the Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre.

At the school division swimming competition, all the Good Shepherd students representing our school had to do at least one race each. Each race was 50 metres in length to swim and there were six different events: butterfly 50m, freestyle 50m, breaststroke 50m, backstroke 50m, 4x50m medley and 4x50m relay. 

Overall it was really exciting racing against the other seven schools and we all had a great time!

Congratulations and thank you to all the competitors, both from our school and others, who contributed to a fun and exciting event. We are very proud of your efforts and good sportsmanship.

We also especially congratulate Jacob (JT) Gu-Han, who won the 11 year old boys breaststroke event! He is pictured above with his blue ribbon.
