WAGGA SCHOOL LEADERS PROGRAM - C4W

C4W Wagga School Leaders Program was launched at a morning tea with invited guests that included Dr Joe McGirr and Hon Michael McCormack. Our participants Elora Guirguis, Ivan Sokolov and Ellie Clarke were on a mission to improve their conversation skills and build confidence by seeking out guests and putting their new found skills to the test.  The feedback from the day was excellent and all students are looking forward to the next module on Tuesday 15 March 2022.

COACHING

Led by Mrs Monique Graham, the Coaching Program is an initiative that caters for students from Years 10 - 12.  It provides students with an opportunity to work collaboratively with a coach to address issues to support their learning flourish.

Coaching is an opportunity to speak to someone, gain some perspective, set goals, bounce ideas around, seek advice and ultimately feel good about your learning.  This week our coaches visited Year 11 homegroups to encourage our new senior students to seek help early and design good work habits around school and their extra curricular activities.

POLICE TALKS

This week we welcomed back Senior Constable Tim Bourke, who is our Police Youth Liaison Officer, to speak to students about a number of important issues including appropriate use of devices, bullying, vaping and, for our senior students, things to remember as you become a licenced driver.  We are grateful for our relationship with Tim who is more than happy to communicate with students and parents.  For more information please contact me at the College.
