Dear Parents/Carers, Families and College Community

The focus at the beginning of this week was on how to manage the public holiday declared for Thursday 22nd September for the National Day of Mourning following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. A copy of the letter sent out on Tuesday 13th September via email is attached for your reference.

In summary these are the clear messages:

  • School on Wednesday 21st September finishes at 2.25pm (as per a Friday schedule).
  • School and the administration building will be closed on Thursday the 22nd September.  There will be no classes for students.
  • Residence will remain open on Thursday the 22nd September.
  • Friday is a normal school day.
  • Residential student movements are to be communicated and managed via REACH.

National School Opinion Surveys (NSOS)

As mentioned in last week’s edition of the Weekly Wrap regarding the students and parents/guardians survey, all the information and feedback obtained will assist in maintaining what the College is doing well.  It also identifies areas where some improvement or change could be made to further enhance the learning and living environment.

The link has already been emailed to Year 12 students and parents to access the survey and I thank those who have already completed this.  Year 12 parents who have not yet completed this to date are encouraged to provide their feedback. If you have completed the survey you should have received a response indicating the survey has been submitted or completed.

Stay safe, look after each other and have a great weekend!
