Year 8 Science

Developing dissection skills

Year 8 students recently studied Body Systems. They were lucky enough to get the opportunity to attempt a dissection of a sheep’s heart, sourced from parts already available as part of consumer meat production. Students were very thankful for the opportunity, and showed care and respect for the specimen, while learning an important scientific practical skill. Well done 8C and 8I for your participation in this event.
