TOM State Finals preparation

Five of our Tournament of Minds (TOM) teams have made it to the finals which will be held at Edith Cowan University in Joondalup tomorrow. Over 50 schools entered the competition this year and it is a fantastic result that five of the Sacred Heart teams made it to the State Finals. A win on Saturday means the teams progress to the National Finals in Canberra later this year.

Also on Saturday, a team of Year 8s and two of our Year 10 Netball teams are playing in the Wanneroo Districts Netball Association (WDNA) Grand Final. The final will be played at Kingsway Sporting Complex on Saturday morning.

Our best wishes to our TOM teams and netballers for successful results in their respective competitions.

We wish Neil well as he finishes his last week at the College - although he will be in Adelaide with Year 10 RoboCup students over the holidays. Thanks, Neil, for your wonderful contribution to our College.

As next week is a very short week with school concluding on Wednesday, this Newsletter will be the final Newsletter for Term 4. It has been a very busy term. I hope all staff and students have a restful break and come back full of new energy for the final term of the 2022 Academic Year.

I ask that you keep our Year 12s in your prayers as they prepare for their final examinations.

God Bless.
