Co-curricular - Junior Sport

Friday evening’s presentation night was a wonderful way to round out the Co-curricular year in the Junior School. It was a great night celebrating the achievements of all the students, shared with many family members. Thank you to all the parents and carers, who braved the warm conditions of the gym and gave up their time to support their son(s) and all the boys in the Junior School. The support has been unwavering all year and I look forward to it continuing into 2023.

I would like to thank Mr Fochesato for sharing the night with us and representing Dr Lavorato and Mr Byrne, who were unfortunately unable to attend due to prior commitments. I would also like to thank all the Junior School staff for giving their time to help out on the night, handing out awards, rallying the boys and helping to pack up. A special mention must go to Mr Davis. His countless years of service to the Junior School, especially in the Co-curricular Program have been invaluable. We wish you all the best on your new adventure and hope that your new school will appreciate the amazing teacher/colleague they are gaining. We thank you for everything you have contributed to sport and the Co-curricular Program.

A reminder to all Junior School Basketball players that playing singlets should have been returned to me by now. If you still have your singlet, please return it before the end of the week. Any singlets not returned will incur the cost of replacement, $65 +GST.

As we draw the curtains on the year, I wish all the boys in Year 6, good luck with your move into the Senior School. May all your successes follow you and grow as you move forward with your education. Year 5, I look forward to seeing you lead the Junior School next year and continuing our fine traditions.

I would like to wish all the families in the Junior School a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year. Take care and I look forward to another successful Co-curricular year in 2023.
