PARENTS AND FRIENDS

We hope that all College families and staff have had a wonderful break and have started this final 2022 term with renewed energy and excitement as we finish our school year with a very busy calendar of events! 

The cake tins are all washed up and the Christmas cake fruit has been soaking over the holidays, so we are all prepped for a fabulous mixing week next. We thank the 16 volunteers who gave their time last term to happily weigh and mix fruit and dry ingredients, with a remarkably efficient crew we had all finished up well before lunchtime! 

Thank you to those who have put their names on the list for next week, we still have a couple of spots to fill on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings. If you are able to assist in the Tim Murray Room (Senior School) at 9am for an hour or two it will be most appreciated. We also will be meeting after working hours to de-tin and cryovac cakes. For those who have enquired about assisting in this way after hours, please contact Mandy on 0401 326674 or Zoe on 0400 017565. 

Our cakes will be available for purchase at Tosca Browns, The Roxburgh Café and directly from the school via Natalie Povey (Junior School) or Fi O’Shannessy (Senior School). An order form will also be available next week attached to the newsletter. 

The 150th Annual Speech Day held on 21 October will be followed by tea and coffee and hosted by the Parents and Friends Association. Please join us to celebrate the special achievements of our students and to congratulate our 2023 school leaders. It is so wonderful to be able to gather at school functions once more and honour the dedication of our students and staff. 

Finally, please join us next Tuesday at 6pm in the Zachariah Room (Senior School) for our P & F meeting. All are most welcome in person or via zoom. There are some exciting new fundraising focuses this term and it is a great way to learn about the many exciting things happening at our school this year and in 2023.
