Club/Parent Umpiring Workshops

What is coming up within the Swans District Junior Football Umpires Association is really exciting. In the coming weeks, our Club Umpire Workshops will be run by association umpires for club umpires.

MJFC are hosting one of the workshops on 24th April, 6pm-7.30pm @ Ray Owen Clubrooms.

These workshops are designed to give the club umpire a better understanding of match management, signalling, law knowledge and much more.

MJFC have been notified by the Swans team that Year 7-9 youth games played in their district, may be heavily reliant upon the support of regular club/parent umpires.

This means teams in Year 7-9 that have a home game or play at another Club in the Swan District are not guaranteed a District umpire will be allocated to their game. Therefore teams will need to supply one umpire for each game.

With that in mind it would be of great benefit to encourage MJFC club/parent umpires to attend one of these events whilst the region works toward increasing their umpire numbers.
