Welcome

In this edition of MY FUTURE Careers News, opportunities to explore tertiary courses and campuses are front and centre. From now until the end of Term 3, this newsletter will inform students of Open Days and Online Information Sessions, designed to help our senior students choose their pathway. The peak of Open Days will be in early August, but there is certainly much to choose from already. In particular, the ADF is providing a number of online sessions for intake opportunities.
A reminder that Year 10 students have been informed of the opportunity to undertake a week of Work Experience in the first week of the July school holidays (Monday 26th to Friday 30th June). Students can opt in to this program and are encouraged to seek out employers willing to take them. Further information and forms are accessible via the Year 10 Google Classroom page. Work Experience forms should be returned to Ms Keating in Currajeen, CS3 by the end of May in order for the placement to go ahead.
In addition, this edition includes information on
- Monash University Discover sessions
- Deakin – Forensic Detective Program
- Women in STEM Scholarships
- Conservation Officer Traineeships Explained
- Mental Health in the Workplace
- 5 Exciting career paths for History Lovers
- Careers in Courts
