3/4WH

3/4WH have been hard at work! The students have hit the ground running since returning from holidays. A big focus for our learning has been around Australia. 

At the end of last term students researched information about each state and territory. They then created a journey around Australia in which they found important landmarks people could visit. Students showed these on a map of Australia and gave a short description about the locations. 

Students investigated how Indigenous Australian seasons are similar and different to Australia’s European climate description. Students created a visual guide showing the Kulin nation's seasons and learnt how they track the weather.

Students learnt how to draw some native Australian animals.
