Congratulations!
We would like to extend our congratulations to Mia and Andy Watson who received the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion on the 27th November.
Reminder:
Sacrament of First Reconciliation will be received in the church on the 8th December at 6pm. We had a parent information session on the 24th November and thank you to the families who attended. Students have now received their preparation booklet which is to be completed prior to the sacrament celebration. If you have not paid for your booklet, please pay $15 to the front office ASAP.
Retreat Days:
On Wednesday, Year 5 participated in an onsite retreat day, focusing on the elements of teamwork and collaboration, in preparation for their leadership roles next year. Students reflected on what teamwork and leadership was and how they can foster these qualities. They then worked together to build towers, participate in problem solving games and design costumes. The day was enjoyed by all with fantastic teamwork skills on display. A strong indication was evident that Year 5 are ready to be the leaders of St Joseph's School next year!
