Residential Accommodation Fees

A gentle reminder that all fees and charges need to be cleared by the end of 2021 for your child to remain in residence for 2022.

This does not apply to parents and carers who are on an approved payment plan or are in receipt of the Assistance for Isolated Children where payments are directed to the College.

The College has completed a review of accounts of concern and has communicated with those parents and carers with available options presented. 

A big thank you to those parents and carers who are up to date with their accounts.

2022 Residential Fees & BAHA Update

The Department of Education Corporate Executive have set the 2022 Residential Accommodation Fee at $8,880.00 for the full year. This is the same as 2021 and 2020 with no increase for the new year. 

In 2022, the Boarding Away from Home Allowance will reduce to $1,320 for the full year. Pro-rata payment will continue to be made.

2022 Contributions Fees & Charges and               2022 Uniforms, Booklists & Residential Requirements

The College has recently released the above documents of which have been endorsed by the College Finance Committee and College Board. You will notice that very little has changed with our fees and charges.

A hard-copy version will be available on the Enrolment Days, 9 & 10 December 2021.

2022 Subsidies & Allowances

Shortly, our website will be updated with a couple of student allowance forms which apply to students attending next year. These are:

• Secondary Assistance Scheme
• ABSTUDY Supplement Allowance

Application forms for the Boarding Away from Home Allowance will be updated once provided from the Department of Education.

Copies of the above forms will be included with your first statement of 2022. Alternatively, they will also be available on the College website: https://www.denmarkag.wa.edu.au/enrolment/financial-assistance/

Staffing Updates

As most of you would have noticed, Julie Lehane is currently on some well-earned long service leave for the remainder of the year.

In 2022, Jan Axe will be taking 12 months away from the College. The College has been very lucky to have someone like Jan on the team. We wish Jan a relaxing and restful 12 months ahead. In Jan’s absence, Julie Lehane will be stepping into the role for term 1, 2022 whilst the position is advertised.

There will also be a new staff member/s joining our front office team – more details on this in the next newsletter.
