Years 11 & 12 Head Start Program commences

Year 11 Psychology

Over the last few weeks the year 11 Psychology students have been learning about perception as well as social influences on behaviour. As part of their assessment students were required to create a question based on these topics and develop their own experiments to answer it. Some students have focused on attitudes towards asylum seekers and the impact of social pressures and stereotypes, whilst others investigated the impact of colour and price on the taste of food. The students conducted their experiments with other students and teachers as the participants before writing up their formal report and findings. An excellent work ethic was shown by the year 11 class with great attention to detail as they went through this process for the first time.
