Persuasive Devices

Students in 3/4 have been learning the craft of using persuasive devices to appeal to their readers. 

Having spent much of lockdown visiting local parks for exercise, playing and socialising, they were asked to write a group persuasive text to argue which of these three local parks was the best, and why: Merri Park, Batman Park and All Nations Park.

Students worked in collaborative groups. They chose their preference, brainstormed ideas together, shortlisted them together, drafted paragraphs together and edited as a group. Finally, their completed texts are ready for publishing. Which text do you find the most persuasive?
