Teaching and Learning in 4M

4M have loved being back at school and learning in a classroom rather than on a device. The past few weeks have been jam packed and the students have settled back in to the routine of school which has been amazing to see. 

When we returned to onsite learning, we were finally able to begin to grow our Sea Monkeys. The children have loved seeing the Sea Monkeys develop and have been put in charge of making sure the water stays at a consistent temperature, the Sea Monkeys are fed and the water is filtered. They have all done a great job as the Sea Monkeys are thriving in their environment. Of course, they had to be named and some of the nick names include MJ, Joel Madden, Benji Madden, Jamal and Gertrud. 

For maths, 4M have been brushing up on their number facts involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. The Flash Card Robots are always a popular activity as they can use it themselves or partner up with a friend and improve their automatic recall of these number facts.

Although the end of year is fast approaching, 4M is looking forward to making the most of the last few weeks of school spent with their friends!
