Argus 2021 Celebration Report 

 

The Argus Community have had a very busy end to the the Term. Students have reached the completion of many areas of leaning and have blown us away with their efforts, growth, and dedication. 

 

Argus students would like to share some of their learning and end of year activities, and celebrate their 2021 year with you. 

 

 

Some Argus students have reflected on the year will share some of their favourite moments of 2021. 

 

Harlem – My favourite activity this year was the mindfulness colouring rainbow. It is really bright and it is so nice and calm to look at.

Ayra – I liked icy pole day because there were lots of ice creams that made us all feel really happy!

Kade – My favourite thing about this year was meeting new friends. I liked reading The Terrible Plop because it was funny! All the animals ran away and the bunny said “Who’s afraid of a silly old plop!?”

Michelle – I really enjoyed when we went in the Cocoon for the Science Incursion. I liked making the tornado by spinning a bottle of water around and around.

Agam – My best thing in Grade 1 was colouring the rainbow.

Sophia – I liked colouring in the rainbow because it looks amazing!

Alara – I liked this year because I did mindfulness colouring and I listened to calming music. 

Abdikhadir – My favourite part of the year was when we had a Science Incursion in the gym. The smoke machine was the coolest thing!

Sahib – My favourite thing in Grade 2 was making the person dressed in a cultural costume, because I got to show people my traditional dress.

Gurfateh- my favourite was the science experiments because it was fun and we can learn new stuff. 

Ela- my favourite was making reindeers, and writing a letter to my family and the envelope

Ayla- my favourite subject is maths because we get to count by 2s and 10s and 5s and play maths games.

Bashir- in lockdown doing remote learning because I liked reading

Rohan- experiments and excursions we did, and how much I learnt in maths

Laith- the pin activity because you can lay down on the carpet

Anika- my favourite was the science incursion

Anayat- my favourite was the last day, when we clean up and also learning about caring for our school. 

Akifa- My favourite was when we made the flags from around the world.

Oliver - I am proud of my best handwriting this term.

Aatika - I like when we did recounts with Alex, I loved writing about our past experience. 

Aaron - I loved when we learned about money.

Saisha -  I enjoyed learning about different animals in Inquiry.

Ibrahim -  I liked when we were learning about graphs in maths. 

Rastin -  I liked learning about punctuation.
