CALENDAR Term dates

Term 1 Dates 2022

First day back for students is Monday January 31.

Prep students start on Monday January 31.

For the first 4 weeks, Prep students will not come to school on Wednesday as teachers will be testing students. Your child. will be given a time for their testing on one Wednesday.

Term 1:  31st January - 8th April (teachers return on Friday January 28 which is Curriculum Day #1 - this day is mandated by the Department of Education for all Victorian Government Schools)

Labour Day: Monday 14th March

Curriculum Day #2: Friday March 25

Term 2: Tuesday 26th April - Friday 24th June

Curriculum Day #3: Friday 10th June

Term 3: Monday 11th July - Friday 16th September

Term 4: Monday 3rd October - Tuesday 20th December 

Curriculum Day #4 TBC for Term 3 or 4

STAFF CARPARK

A reminder that the school driveway and staff carpark are not for parents/carers.

It is extremely unsafe to illegally park in these areas as it blocks access for emergency vehicles and/or staff needing to urgently leave the carpark.

PARKING

A reminder to all our families that Hume City Council has parking restrictions in the streets surrounding our school. Please adhere to the parking signage and obey the council regulations at all times. Hume City Council does regular patrols at school pick up and drop off times and you will be fined if you are parked illegally.

We realise there are many parents/ carers trying to pick up many students at the same time and we ask that you be patient and considerate of others and perhaps think about parking a bit further away and walking if you are unable to find a legal parking space which is safe for all concerned. Our students safety is our priority at all times. We also ask that you respect out school neighbours by not parking across their driveways as this is illegal and dangerous, especially if there is an urgent need for that home owner to gain access to their property or leave their property. 

The sporting facility at the rear of our school is closer to being completed now that restrictions have eased and there will be parking availability in the grounds when that is open.
