Citi New Recruits Program

The FREE Citi New Recruits program provides disadvantaged and disengaged young people in Victoria and New South Wales with the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge required to succeed in the workforce of the 21st century.

  • Find out about employer expectations
  • Learn job interview techniques and how to prepare your CV
  • Develop job-ready skills required for the 21st century workforce
  • Gain industry exposure through five days of work placement
  • Learn technical skills relevant to the industry you’re interested in

To be eligible you must be:

  • Between the ages of 17 and 24
  • Looking for employment and/or further study in: automotive, business, information technology, horticulture, government or other industries
  • An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

You must also be able to demonstrate one of the following criteria:

  • Financial hardship (e.g a Health Care Card)
  • A disability as defined in Equal Opportunity Act such as
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
  • From a non-English speaking background
  • From a rural/remote area and have relocated
