Principal's Message

Message from Mr Graham Jones

The final week of school for 2019 is finally here. It has been a very hectic year for me personally taking on the Principal's position and I thank all the staff, students and parents for their support during this time. This final newsletter for 2019 is jam packed with articles regarding the fantastic excursions and experiences our students have participated in over the past 2 weeks - far too many for me to report on here. Please read on to learn about these.

I do want to touch on the student reports that went home recently. I was very pleased to send congratulatory letters to the students who had excellent reports for semester 2. It was obvious that these students had applied their best efforts in every subject area and this transferred into higher levels of achievement. It was also disappointing to note that some students were not applying themselves to their learning and as a result, had not achieved well. My challenge to all the students of BCS for 2020 is to apply themselves fully to all areas of their learning and strive for excellence, not just settle for satisfactory.

I would like to thank all our volunteers in 2019 and wish all the families of Boorowa Central School a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you all have quality time with your loved ones during the holiday's and return in 2020 feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
