Book Week Success for ViSN Students
Mazenod has several students studying Business Certificate III units as part of the Catholic Education Office’s virtual schools’ network program (ViSN). This term six ViSN students were required to formulate a small business plan and promote their business during Book Week. In teams, they designed their business logos, prepared appropriate business documents/fliers and then ‘spruiked’ their venture during this week’s Book Week celebrations. The whole exercise of working in teams forced students to mediate on design issues, delegate tasks, meet deadlines, cope with absent peers and present a very polished event.
Well done boys and congratulations on meeting the criteria and providing an interesting Book Week promotion. Library patrons enjoyed your sessions in the library on Monday and Wednesday.
