Mazenod Defeats Governor Stirling

Yesterday Mazenod Year 7 Football team played Governor Stirling in the second game of the WAFC competition at Mazenod. It was another strong performance by the team who dominated the game from start to finish, defeating Governor Stirling 45-13. The team remains undefeated so far this tournament.

A big thanks to Mr Floyd for coaching and the parents for coming and supporting the team!

The next game is against Darling Range Sports College on Wednesday 4 September.

Soccer for a Good Cause

Last Friday at lunch the staff took on the Y12s in the first of a series of challenges, indoor soccer.

An amazing spectacle, with both staff and students putting on a clinical display of skills. With the scores level at full time (1-1), it came down to a penalty shootout, with the staff claiming victory!

Well done to all involved, and it was great to raise some money for the Young Vinnies through the gold coin donation for student spectators.
