Wyndham City Council to all Wyndham Schools

I hope you are all well and keeping safe.  

By now, you’d be aware, that in line with Federal and State Government advice we have temporarily closed all of our buildings – including libraries, community centres and sport and recreation centres. Kindergarten services are currently operating and maternal child health services via phone, email and in person on a case by case basis. Much like yourselves, we’ve been working hard to introduce new ways to deliver services remotely and encouraging families to keep their kids home where possible.

Prior to these measures, many local students would frequent our libraries and community centres after school. An exceptional resource that we have here at Wyndham City is our online library. This 24/7 online service is entirely free for use, and includes a range of educational and learning resources, e-books, apps and student tutoring service. It’s free for families to sign up online and our Libraries team is also working on ways to work more closely with schools to support e-memberships for students.
