Year 6-7 and 9-10 Transition Information

As your child is now in their final year of primary school, it is time to decide where they will begin secondary school. As Parents and Carers, you will receive an application form for Year 7 placement in 2021, along with some important information via email or post.

Please note: It is imperative that when you receive this information, to please read it, fill in the preference form, sign it, and return back to the College via return email to enrolments@tarneitcollege.vic.edu.au . Preference forms are due back prior to Friday 29 May 2020.

College Fees

College Council has approved the school’s Parent Payment charges for the 2020 school year. 2020 College Fees can be paid HERE through the Compass Parent Portal. There are 2 options available via Compass: pay in full, or by payment plan with 8 monthly payments.

Any questions regarding 2020 College Fees should be directed to College Administration on 9749 0506.

We would like to thank our families in advance for payment of the 2020 College Fees, as these contributions make a significant impact on student learning throughout the school year.

Please note that we are now accepting payments and permission through Compass which can be accessed from both the web browser and phone app.

College Tours

Prep College Tours -  Will commence in Term 3, Tuesday 14 July and will run up until the 25 August 2020. Tours are held on Tuesdays at 9.15am and run for half an hour.

Year 7 College Tours – Will commence in Term 3, Wednesday 15 July and will run up until the 26 August 2020. Tours are held on Wednesday’s at 12pm and run for half an hour.

CSEF

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend activities like:

• school camps or trips
• swimming and school-organised sport programs
• outdoor education programs
• excursions and incursions.

2020 C S E F Applications are NOW OPEN and will close on

Friday 19 June 2020.

CSEF 2020 forms are now available for eliable families to complete. If you hold a valid (current) concession card, please complete the CSEF Application Form above and return via our College email tarneit.p9@education.vic.gov.au no later than Friday 29 June to ensure prompt processing.
