Schooling in the era

of coronavirus

As we circulate this newsletter we are in the midst of a third school closure period and remote learning for our students and staff due to Covid-19.

We moved to remote learning in March in line with the all other schools and were fortunate to have the platforms in place to connect with students remotely.

Three weeks ago one of our students tested positive to Covid-19, which forced a closure of the school, testing for all close contacts, and a deep clean of our school.

At the time of writing we are fortunate to have no more positive cases, but due to the escalation of Covid-19 cases in Victoria, we have returned to remote learning for a six week block.

Colac has about 100 positive cases right now, which is significant in a small country town.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those people and their families as they battle their way back to full health.

This is a quick walk through of an empty Trinity College. Many of you may not have seen the more recent upgrades.
