Head of Junior Years
Mrs Maria Denholm
It has been great to be able to welcome back all our Junior Years students last week. We extend a special welcome to the many students and their families beginning at Good News for the first time.
Our Prep students have settled in very well and are already learning and practicing school routines.
A major focus in classes has been establishing Essential Agreements and procedures, to developing good working classroom communities where rich learning can take place.
It was a pleasure to install the 2022 Junior Years Leaders last week and you can watch the video of that event here.

Junior Years Ambassadors - Naysa Agarwal and Sandaru Suraweera Arachchilage
Worship and Mission Leaders - Kruthi Mamidi, Aaliyah Thapar, Bruktawit Nebiyu, Bitania Zerom, Kalen Davies, Kashish Motae

Thank you to those of you who have made bookings to catch up with your child’s teacher. If you haven’t done this yet, there is another session on Tuesday 15 February. You can book through the College website under the ‘News and Events' tab.
We are still planning on holding the Junior Years Twilight Picnic but have postponed it until Friday 1 April. Please keep this evening free, as it is a wonderful opportunity to catch up in person with Junior Years families.
Please enjoy the photos of the many smiling faces which have been seen around the campus this week!
