Workforce & HR

Term 1 2022

Workforce & HR

For 2022, we have restructured our leadership team roles to ensure the delivery of our School Strategic Plan (SSP) aligned to the revised Framework for Improving Student Outcomes (FISO 2.0). These positions were externally advertised with many of our previous leadership team being successful in these new roles.

The leadership team will continue to focus on our SSP goals and AIP actions and activities in three smaller working teams: Achievement, Engagement and Wellbeing. These are as follows:

  1. Achievement SIT: Anthony (Chair), Kelly (LT Curriculum & Assessment), Gabi M (LS Primary T&L) and Sean (LS Secondary T&L).
  2. Engagement SIT: Anthony (Chair), Bern (LT Transition & Partnerships), Matt (Business & Operations Manager). Jan (PSD Coordinator) also joins this team regularly.
  3. Wellbeing SIT: Robyn (Chair), Julie (LT Inclusive Practice & Support), Michelle (LT Wellbeing & Support), Helena (LT Community Engagement & Participation), Alex (Social Worker & Child Safety Officer). Ian (Health & Fitness Coordinator) and Jackie (Mental Health Practitioner) may also work with this team on school-wide SSP projects.

The whole leadership team works closely together on whole-school priorities and initiatives as required, but meets in Weeks 1, 4 and 8 each term.

Jaclyn, Gabrielle M, Uzer, Eva, Sean, Jo, Vu and Ian have been appointed as PLT Leaders for 2022. PLT Leaders will be led by our Learning Specialists for Primary & Secondary ( Gabi and Sean).

Kelly will continue to manage the TLI (Tutoring) Team as part of the DET 2022 AIP Priority. This team will include Sarah Brens, Laura, Jess (Term 1). Katherine will continue to be attached to the 9/10 World of Work program delivering our supported work experience program for Year 9/10 students in the café. This will be aligned to VET modules covering barista training and food handling.

Ian will continue to coordinate our Health and Fitness strategy in line with our SSP. He will deliver small group interventions to improve the health and fitness of our students. He will also lead staff in delivering the cohort Health & Fitness sessions and additional activities at recess and lunch.

Congratulations to all of the staff who were successful in being appointed to a new position or position of responsibility for 2022.
