Language enrichment Programs 2022

We will be continuing our French and Japanese Language Enrichment programs after school again in 2022. The Language Enrichment Programs are designed to make a space for students who are working independently to touch base with a teacher. The aim is to ensure they are progressing through their programs and to give them a chance to ask any questions they might have. They are not to support students in their regular classes. They are by invitation only, subject to an interview with the language teacher. 

Typical participants might be: 

• Students undertaking French or Japanese by distance education. 
• Background speakers of French or Japanese or students who speak French or Japanese at home. 
• Students who have come to Shelford from schools which offer immersion programs in French or Japanese. 

Please contact your daughter’s language teacher if you think your daughter qualifies for our language enrichment programs. 

Here is the schedule for Term 1: 

Week 2 Day 6: 7 February 

• Japanese Extension Program Room C16, 3.30–4.30pm
• French Extension Program Room C15, 3.30–4.30pm

Week 4 Day 6: 21 February  

• Japanese Extension Program Room C16, 3.30–4.30pm  
• French Extension Program Room C15, 3.30–4.30pm

Week 6 Day 6: 7 March  

• Japanese Extension Program Room C16, 3.30–4.30pm
• French Extension Program Room C15, 3.30–4.30pm

Week 8 Day 6: 21 March
