Well-being

 

The idea behind the Bucket Filler theory is that each interaction with another person is a chance to build wellbeing. The theory developed by Clifton and Rath is that people have an invisible bucket and that by doing something kind for someone,  you not only fill their bucket but your own too! 

 

Thank you to all the students, teachers and parents that have taken the time to nominate Bucket Fillers this term.

Oscar in 12E: Gifting one of his hard earned ‘Cuphead Plush Teddies’ to his brother. He had saved hard to purchase these for himself, but was incredibly generous and gave one to his brother. Nominated by: Archie

 

Sawma in 56E: Always responding to our feedback with positivity and having such a fantastic attitude towards remote learning. The work he does and his comments always make us smile! Nominated by: Mrs Steer & Miss Syme

 

Lucian in 12C: Helping and supporting his little sister and Nan with navigating Google Classroom while Mum is away on Medical Placement. Your help, support, effort and willingness to help is greatly appreciated. Nominated by: Mum
