Middle School Art

The Middle Years Artists are astounding me with their perseverance and determination. The Year 6s digital artworks are wonderful, supported by careful drawings. Year 7 are each creating unique masterpieces, carefully selecting a modern art movement, materials and composition that reflect their personal worldview. Year 8 are developing careful tonal drawings of an animal of choice, referencing Joel Sartore (National Geographic photographer), who hopes that ‘by looking into the eyes of the animal people would be moved to act’. Students are examining their role as stewards to God’s beautiful Creation. Please keep encouraging their efforts!
