Playground Collage by Foundation Students

The Foundation students have created a communal collage using coloured paper which explores the theme “Playground” as they eagerly await the new playground that is being built.

They have explored cutting and tearing paper to create shapes and lines, and assembled the pieces to create part of a playground. They also worked to develop spatial awareness in their art by placing their piece beside, behind or above another piece to compose the collage.

The collages are currently on display by the door where the Foundation students exit the school building to go into the yard.
