Senior School

Senior School update

Semester two is now in full swing and students in all year levels are studying hard as well as looking into the future at subjects for next year and pathways beyond Year 12.

Last Friday, it was great to see many Year 10 and 11 parents and students attend subject selection interviews for 2020. Please feel free to contact the Senior School if you any concerns or questions, or need any further information regarding subject selections for 2020.

Year 10

This semester, students are participating in TeenAid: a first aid program where students are able to learn basic first aid skills including CPR and how to handle emergency situations. It was great to see so many students showing interest and enthusiasm in the first session. First-aid skills are very valuable in our community, and we are pleased that students are taking the sessions seriously to learn beneficial life skills.

Year 12

It’s getting down to the pointier end of the year and students are studying hard. There are a number of reminders from Senior School:

Students should be looking at getting their VTAC applications organised for tertiary studies.

Valedictory tickets and Yearbook payments should also be available on Compass soon.

A reminder to parents not to plan holidays during Term 3 break as students will have revision during this time.
